good HU?

good HU?

i mentioned that i wanted to get a Blaupunkt San Francisco hu, but i was told that their sq isnt very high. could someone suggest a better hu? i really like the SF, but i want to consider better brands that are out there also.

IMO, their headunits are priced UBELIEVEABLY well and are AMAZING!!! i have the '94

Blaupunkts day has passed, dont buy it. Kenwood on the other hand is what I will recommend. I have a KDC-X659 replacing my stock Bose, and the SQ with stock bose speakers is AMAZING! Hopefull will post pics tomorrow.

siri- do you have the non-bose? im looking to put a new hu in my 2k2 non-bose, but i wanna know if the stock speakers can sound that much louder and clearer?

No, I had Bose. To answer your question, your stock speakers will sound better with a new HU because it will push more watts to each speaker. Replacing your factory speakers even with moderately priced aftermarket speakers will make a world of difference.

but i have no $$$ for some mb quartz yet. i just wanna get some more mids and highs because my subs are overpowering them.
