different amps?

different amps?

could someone tell me in what situations i would use a mono amp, a 2-channel amp, and a multi-channel amp? also, how and why would u bridge an amp? does it create more power? im lackin in audio knowledge. i should probably buy a book. could someone recommend one? ill stop askin questions now.

a multi channel amp is most commenly known for full systems, u get either a 4 channel, and do all 4 interior speakers, or a 5 channel, and do all 4 interior speakers with a sub...bridging does creat more power, because you are combining two channels...a mono amp...is used for subs...direct power..

I'm still kinda new to the audio world to, thats what i purseive all this information as
