Just Installed Viper Responder 790XV

I just got the new Viper Responder 790xv. It's the new one with the 2-way pager that they have. I got installed from Don in NJ (aka Pearl96Max).. I haven't gotten a chance to play with the remote but so far everything look cool.. The thing I dig was the fact then when I remote start the car, on the lcd exhaust comes out the tailpipe Don's a great guy and the install went nice and smooth. The only thing that took long was yanking out the old alarm that I had installed. The guy who installed my alarm did a ****ty job, wires were dangling all over the place. Don,took his time with the install, wrapped all the wires neatly. If any anyone is in the NY, NJ area I would definitely recommend him. He's cheaper then most ppl out there and his work is first to none...

Thanks for all your help today Pearl96Max!!

-Danny

The alarm functions are the same as the Viper 550ESP. With the exception of the Responder, this will confirm every function as you use it, and will alert you if your alarm goes off.

I will be running a Group Deal soon, look for pricing in there.

Do you know how to change the time the car runs when remote started. I want to change mine from 12 to 24 minutes.

Thanx...

It should be in the owners manual. I havent done it that for years, as I use a Bitwriter its just a programmer that plugs directly into ESP units and I do everything from there.

This may be a dumb question....but i am looking for an aftermarket alarm. I love the idea of having the lcd transponder but what im looking for is just a good alarm with the pager. I am not interested in the remote start that much....I just want something with a good shock senser and whatnot but also with a pager. Is there anyway that this transponder could be used with a 500ESP? or is there something else?? thanks guys...

I do sell the pagers as well, but for the multi channel pager with numeric disply and vibrate plus the alarm you would almost be at about the same price as the 790XV, and still without the remote start and something extra to carry. I can do the responder for your car and you can just choose to not use the remote start if you dont want to.

BTW..it wasnt a stupid question, the only stupid ones are the ones you Dont ask.
