Building a false floor for the trunk

Is it possible to build it in one big piece that will cover one end to the other? Or it's only feasible if it's cut into 2 or maybe even 3 pieces?

I agree with Don, I got mine in in one piece, except for a door cut out for access to the spare tire...hehe Just pull out the carpet that's on the floor of the trunk, flip it over on a sheet of playwood, MDF, or whatever you use, and trace it as a pattern. Cut outside the lines in order to leave it a little bigger than the carpet, cause you can always trim some off if it's big,,,,but you can't put some on if it's small. That's what I did, and it fit perfect...

Thanks guys. I'll show some pics when I'm done. I'm going to mount the amp in the spare tire hole. Build a flase floor with a window to show of the amp. Wire up some neons. Maybe finish it up by building some bondo/fiberglass trim plate. Where is a good place to order high quality carpet to cover the flase floor?

Mine is 3 pieces. Looks damn good, near perfect stealth. Much easier to take out that way too at least from my perspective. Take a look see.

Hard to tell it's 3 pieces, I love it. I also have amp covers for complete stealth. After all, Ghost Rider is the perfect stealth car..... Like KITT and what not
