no. screwing it onto the box, probably will create a leak, among other problems.

the screws thread is 3/4 of an inch (excluding the head) ... my box is made out of 3/4 inch mdf .. there is a bevel (if thats what you call it) that is approx 1/8 of an inch ... i'm gonna put maybe 2 washers under each bevel to raise it up slighty ... so i should be all right correct?

ya should be no problem, of coarse only if ur not **** about airspace!

just don't put the screws all the way through the wood, allowing air to excape.

no my friend .... that is a 88 maxima with custom body work ... it was selling on ebay for like a week and the high bid who won was like $449

Just remember if its on your box. You cant simply unplug your speaker wire..and take the box out incase your hauling stuff...or trying to haul *** on the drag strip or autox course.

ahahhaha lol, that car is pretty nasty, im sorry to say,
what did he pay for that?

again to the box, there should be no problem, use a washer underneath or just shorter screws so it wont go through the box.

I would just make a amp rack for it.. IMO, amps screwed to boxed look kinda ogilie..
