Opinions on Bazooka Bass?

Instead of putting in a box in the trunk (I can't modify the trunk without losing too much space that I need - my max IS a grocery getter ) I'm thinking of getting a Bazooka type of bass. What do you guys think of them? Also, are there smaller ones that will fit INSIDE the cabin of the car without taking up too much space? like on the rear deck area by the rear windshield?

You might consider bass shakers. Aura used to make them. But never, ever, put speakers on your rear deck (area by rear windshield) or I will be forced to LAUGH, LAUGH, LAUGH at you. All day, every day.

Seriously, you can get a small amplified 8" bazooka or an infinity basslink and take up very little space. It can be done for around or under $200, look clean, and sound a LOT better than stock.

I have a bazooka tube in my car. It's an 8inch amped model. only like 30 watts going at it I think. Impression... of course doesn't hit as hard as regular subs. But just enough bass to make me happy without the whole cabine rattole... I would not suggest you put it between your rear windshield and deck. where I had mind is that little spot between your rear seat and your trunk.. I have since moved it, because there isn't really a good spot to keep the tube in place. let me know if you want a picture...

Look into the Inifinti Basslink. There are quite a few installs on the .org. I have one, and love it. Quality and sound are better than the Bazooka product.
