BOSE CD player for 92 SE

I recently had my car stolen (92 SE) and they took my leather power seats, instrument cluster, and the OEM Bose stereo. I want to replace the stereo (Head Unit) with one from a later model Maxima that has the CD player/tape deck built in (Double DIN type). My question is will a BOSE system from a newer Maxima plug into the existing Harness assembly? Will I need to buy a harness adapter? Anything I should watch for?

I'd like to stay with a stock (OEM) head unit just because they seem to look cleaner, kind of like they belong (just my opinion). I don't need anything really loud; the Bose HU that was stolen worked fine for my needs. I just figured that since I'm going to replace the HU I should probably try a get one with a CD player.

I've gone to several pick-a-part auto wreckers and they have the units I'm looking for, for about $150. Some the head units are from Infinity's. Are all Bose HU's interchangeable? The guy at the wreckers said any BOSE system would work (I don’t' know if he was just trying to make a sale or telling the truth). I just want to make sure before buying.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
