Annoying Noise!!!

Annoying Noise!!!

Anyone else have problems with noise in their system?
Gets worse with lights on also when AC is on!

Sounds like you have a grounding problem. What kind of set-up are you running?

I brought it back to the installer and he re-grounded the H.U. and it is still there!!
I am running Alpine 7892,MTX 4244, Infinity 6.5's in all the doors with seperates up front and the basslink!

It's more like a friggen dentist drill!!! More noticable when you are accelerating!
It really isn't too bad when the lights and AC are not on!
Still blows though!

sounds like alternator whine.
the sound gets louder when you accelerate, right?
i had that problem, i had rca wires touching speaker wires and metal also, i cleaned up the mess behind my head unit ( made sure speaker wires and rca's were not close to each other, and cover metal with some dynamat ) the noise is almost gone, its still there, but barely noticeable.
and yes, it could also be a sloppy grounding job.
check the rca's on your amp, and make sure the amp is grounded to metal, and not to paint on the metal.
