alternator

hey doesn nebody know the maximum amount of amps that a stock alternator can charge????? im lookin into gettin a dry cell batterry but i dont want one thats too big for the alternator. thanx

The 4th gen maxima alternator puts out about 110-120 amps at roughly 9000 alternator RPM's. It can power a fairly hefty stereo system if proper wire gauges are used and no faults in the wireing.

That battery is way overpriced for it's storage ability. Look into westco batteries. A lot of local shops stock or can order their batteries. And I have seen them for sale online a couple times but the priceing was not as good as what I paid at my dealer. Measure your stock battery and try to stay close to the same dimensions. Unless you are willing to build a battery tray.
