So I have the inside Polk's, Head Unit and 1 sub, I am now looking for amps...any recommendations? I eventually will buy another sub...or upgrade to 2 better ones, I am just starting on the stereo, I did the bolt on go fast and handling mods first. One thing is, this is expensive, props to all of you with phat stereos, I know you have spent a ton! I am having a single 12" enclosure built to the spec of the speaker, for maximum quality. What do you guys think of my set up? what else do you recommend? I am going to buy a optima red top before the install also.

keep that box thing, mod it, maybe glass the enclosure {better sound}
the stock box is ported, so you will either need an eq to dial down some punchy bass due to its design {thanks dr bose.....dork}
but so far, you're off to a good start
My sponsor did all mine with Ample Audio and they really work well,
you can check their specs on all the line at www.ampleaudio.com and decide for yourself...as well if you look at one for pricing, let me know , I'll ask for a good deal for you, Don.

Thanks Tracy all that amp stuff is confusing me
what do I need to power all the speakers correctly? also you have a nice set up.
Bryan what do you mean by glass? I thought the original 5 1/4 had to just be cut a little wider to fit? same with the rear, they are 6x9 right? so I just make a round hole in the middle of the oval shape to put the smaller 6 1/2 in?

I guess this is what I want to know. I want an amp that is going to get my speakers the full amount of wattage needed, to produce the cleanest sound. By looking at the wattage on my speakers, head unit, etc...what kind of wattage amp/channel/ohm do I need?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have components in the front and rear unlike yours but as long as the speakers will handle the power, this should match up well
...again let me know what your budget for the amp is
...also call Dave at Tweeter and I am sure he can help as well...later Bro
well my friend picked up his fosgate 5 ch for like 300. out in LA.
like i said there is nothing wrong with the stuff out there. i have been getting stuff out there for friends systems for more than 4 years. have not had a problem since.
