Thoughts on Kenwood KDC MPV619

The cd player on my BOSE finally quit working and now I'm looking to replace it with a single din cd player w/ no tape deck. So does anyone have any experience w/ the Kenwood KDC MPV619? It has a removable face, selectable color display, and it plays MP3's. It also has two sets of preouts (kinda low voltage but I'm not running a bunch of amps). SO, is this a nice unit? Would you recommend something else? THanks for any responses.

I am not familiar with that Head Unit at all. It would be useful if you could give the price range you were willing to spend. Also if you could provide what other equipment you'll be hooking up to it, would be helpful as well. Personally, I am a fan of Eclipse decks. They have great sound quality, and their Electronic Security Network, if stolen, I hear is a great bonus(hopefully I'll never have to test that feature out).

Thanks for the response. I guess the price range is around $300.00 I'd like to stay as close as possible to that. I'm only gonna hook up one amp for a 12" DVC Orion sub. To connect the BOSE speakers to the system I'm probably gonna use an adaptor made by Scosche for about $50.00.

I have the Kenwood KDC-MPV919 and I am extremely happy with it. If you check the net, you can find them for under $300.
