I like looks bad man keep up the good work. I been on vacation for a while and just got back. Just be careful though we have a country azzzz player hater by the name of 92 SE-R 02 SE, hes going around hating on the best maximas we have. See he owns a slow *** POS sentra so he gets his rocks off by cracking on sweet looking cars , hes probably pist off becuase he name himself after a sentra instead of a real man, he has a rice burning name SE-R, hes not too bright.

The system looks great and sounds crispy clear, and had a nice "thump" even on its lowest setting.

Now he just needs to get the turbo to keep up with my vw

The trunk looks great in person, and the rear corner panel tweeters look very nice.

When I was installing the rear components a long time ago, we were thinking of putting them there, but we did not want to cut anything if he got a new setup.

So they did it now, and it came out great.

we actually took the door panel off on the front and though about moving the tweeters, but they fit snug where the stock ones are with a screw behind them.. looks like just taking the bracket off and bolting it to that and leaving the stock tweeter housing on the panel works fine, at least for arnaud.

i drilled my door panel a bit bigger to accomodate the tweeter so i could angle it, more highs are what i was looking for..

Ohh, are the 97-99 tweeters located in a different location? The 95-96 had them in the a-pillar, but the space there was only about the thickness of a few sheets of paper, so aftermarket tweeters could not fit in there at all.. Now I've gotta find out where the 97-99 Maxima tweeters are mounted. Thanx.

They are located in the door panels near the door handle.

The install looks great...you have your subs firing towards the front did you leave everything behind the rear seats or did you do anything with the ski hole??

Never mind I saw you other post and it looks like you did remove the metal frame from behind the seat....Why did you choose to invert the subs and is that a custom sub box that you built??

The box is a Qlogic box, its tiny ( not as big as it should be) and we inverted the subs for looks mainly, then covered it with 1/2 inch plywood then covered with vinyl. All the material used was 1/2inch plywood covered in vinyl, very very stable and stiff, no rattles from music and i have 0 dynamat. The only part that rattles is my trunk lid but thats cause its so thin to begin with.
