I had a 10 disk Sony player installed in the trunk. It's wired to an RF Modulator and set for 88.5. I continue to get an incredible amount of static when I listen to the CD's. I've had the same unit in my '93 maxima with no problems. The installation guys keep telling me that the problem may be with the RF Mod. Could this be right??

If so, then I might be in the market for an in-dash CD player.... I saw one on Ebay, but the ad was removed after I decided to bid.
