Is what i'm thinking correct?

Hey whats up i have a stock bose in my 99 and i am dissatisfied with it. The back speakers sound horrible and i am thinking about getting rid of the bose system. I know the bose is complicated, so i was wondering if what i want to do can be done and is smart. i want to replace all the interior speakers and put in infinity kappa652.5i in both the rear deck and on my doors. i was also going to get a new headunit and probably a pair of tens with an amp of course. is this able to be done at a place like 6th ave or best buy, because i have no clue about car audio and i was not planning on installing it myself. i am willing to spend the money to get quality sound. thanks for any help guys. i'm open to all suggestions because im completely new to this.
thanks

Do it yourself. Not rocket science and with the $ you will save on the installation, put it towards a TFT screen

Yes you can rip everythign out and start over...Be sure to ask for some sort of backround on the installers, some really suck...Remember cuz there pros don't mean they knows

Shoot me an email and Im sure I can hel ya with the situation. Also I am in no way close to as high of prices that the above mentioned stores are.

i know that places around here will charge u an arm and a leg for a complete system. I wanted circuit city to install my stuff and they said $500.... I did it myself which wasn't too hard. and now i do it for other people for a fraction of the cost of big name stores...

The infinities will work really well. If price isn't an issue, get a 12" kicker solobaric with a rockford fosgate bd1000. That is what i have and it hits hard and deep. It shouldn't be too hard to get that stuff installed. Personally I would get the front speakers professionally installed, but the rears should be easy to do yourself. Expect to pay around $200cnd, I'm canadian, for the box for your sub, it is pretty big, and if you want truck space, don't get the kicker. I'm guessing a place like best buys will charge $50cnd to install front speakers, maybe less. But you will need a wiring kit that can handle 4ohm or if you have the money 1ohm. That will set you back $200cnd, or get your stuff from ebay, and save $$$$. If you want a professional look get best buys to do it for you. I could have installed all the stuff myself, but I wanted all the wiring to be under the carpets and stuff, but I don't have the patience do to that. You could install all the stuff in 1 day, 2 days max.
