Strobes and neon lights inside the engine bay
I gave up on the idea of using OEM hood switch to trigger the strobes and neons. The OEM hood switch is +4V coming from the BCM. I would had to use 2 relays and change the OEM hood switch to +12V. I took the easy way out and installed an addition hood pin switch.
Here is a link to the pics.

All 4 strobes, 2 neon rods and the gauge light would come on once I open up the hood.

Re: Re: Strobes and neon lights inside the engine bay
I found the hood switch inside my parts box. I bought it a long time ago either from partsexpress.com or jcwhitney.com. It's winter time here so heat isn't a problem for the neons right now. I mounted the hood switch right next to the OEM hood switch. I drilled a hole and the just screwed the hood switch into the hole. You can tell the location from one of the picture in the link.
