hey right now i have a sony xplod 1000w running my 2-12" solo barics but soon enough im gonna want a new amp cuz although the sony has done its job, its just not hitting hard enough for me...
ive been running my amp for about a year w/out any problems, and i drive norcal to socal once a month or so...6 hour drives w/out a single stop on it...once a 9 hour drive.....but im looking for the same reliability but w/ more power....any ideas....i got PPI and Kicker amps in mind, anythign i shouldconsider?

Lets put it this way, I play it hard and the zapco has not been past 1/8 power.

ive heard of those but i also heard theyre not as good as they used to be

 

I dont want to take up your thread or anything, but I am getting 2 kicker 12in L5 subs. I already have a Kenwood Excelon KAC-X40IM. I want to get another amp so I can give some more power to the subs. Anyone got a reccomendation for a second amp?

 

From my experience, zapco still makes one of the best subs. They are not cheap though.
