Yeah, you can use the factory wires for the speakers. Just make sure you use the speaker wires and not the amp power wires. Another thing, Crutchfield should sell a universal pocket that will fit under the single Din head unit. It makes a great spot to hold CD cases while the CD is in the head unit.

The stock Bose set-up uses seperate tweeters. Does anyone know how they are crossed over, and how the other speakers are crossed over?? I think that the speakers sound fairly good, and would sound better with lots of clean power. I need to know if I can just hook up to the stock wiring, or if I need to dig everything out, and provide passive crossovers for the seperates in the doors.

they are not crossed over persay. the tweets just hace a cap inline which cuts out the mids, and the door speakers play full range.

After posting here last, I did some reading and found that the amps that drive the speakers run at 1 ohm. The door speakers, seperates, are probably 2ohm drivers wired in Parallel??? Is there a pair of wires behind the stock Bose HU that directly feeds each pair of front speakers? Or is there an amp in the way... Thanks for your help, Tom.
