Sony CDX-M730

after weeks of looking, i decided i want to get this model
checked out prices around, best buy, Frys, www.crutchfield.com etc..
299.99 then checked out ebay, 215 + 18 shippin brand new..
went to local car audio shop, they told me 299, i told them about ebay, and the boss told me he dont want to loose the bussiness, so he'll talk to his supplier for me. i waited outside and watched 10 mins of "Boondock Saints" hehehe thats good movie then he came out and told me 230 the best he can do, we aggreed and he told me it'll get here in 2 hours, so i went home
went back the next day, and they installed it in about 20 mins
230
15 labor
15 kit, so it dont looks ugly with a big hole
10 for wires and antena stuff
tax
____

280 something

now after i got it, played around with the panel and remote control for about 30 mins. then found the user's manual in the back seat and found out wut the hell i just did.. haha
AM Still crappy, lolz its AM
FM awesome ! really clear and you can name the station
CD really impressed, besides it was ultra clear, no noise.. it
played the messsed up CDs that the stock could't, no skip!!
XM maybe wen i get more money
Looks > stock, and 10 times better at night (enough said)
then i found the LOUD button ... hahah good stuff
the 730 boosted my bass and treble, and overall quality.. (if you think the stock are good, wait till you hear wut the sony can do with the stock bose system)

i will get pics up tommorow, hopefuly

congrats on your purchase. Glad to hear you like it. The reason the dealer was able to come down so much on price is because that model is a 2002, and was recently discontinued. Nothing wrong with that, just stating the reason.

Im sorry I didnt mean to mislead you. I was just congratulating you on your purchase and was glad to hear that you were happy with it. I am not a big Sony fan myself, although I do still stock and sell them occasionally.

I would have to check if there are any at the warehouse. Like I posted earlier it has been discontinued, but I can still call.
