Bose head unit question??

You can tap into the rear speaker inputs (between the amp and the speaker). The impedance on this system is only 1 Ohm, but you can still tap into it and it will work as high level inputs. At any rate, do this only at your own risk.

just saw this in some other thread..........

I don't know if it's the right thing for you though

The Bose HU does not have a sub outlet.
This is how I got mine to work: I went to my local Good Guys Audio/Video store and asked for a converter to change a high level (speaker level) signal to a low level (RCA) signal. For around $25 they gave me a little black box that will do the job. The box has input wire pairs for both left and right channels on one side, and RCA outputs on the other. I twisted the negative inputs together and did the same with the positives, and then tapped them into the wires that go from the left rear Bose amp to the speaker (right rear would work just as well). I then ran an RCA cable from the black box to the RCA inputs on my subwoofer amp.
The black box has two little screws on it that adjust the voulume level of the output signal. Through trial and error, I learned that the level has to be turned fairly low, or else too much power will be drawn from the Bose amp. I blew 3 of the buggers before I figured this out, so if you go this route, learn from my mistake!
