problem w/hu and subs

problem w/hu and subs

I just had my pioneer head unit installed today, and now my subs go in and out?? I also get a loud thump from the subs when I turn the ignition off. Can anyone help me???

Check what wire the remote lead is connected to. It sounds like it is connected to ignition, when it should be to the remote wire off of the HU. Also check all the RCA and speaker connections. Sounds like something may be loose.

Thanks, Don. It was the RCA connection. Funny thing. There wasn't one. They didn't put the wire from the HU to the amp. They took care of that, and now it slams like no other.
