OK. I bought an 89 Max with the entire bose system removed. Trying to Even the front speaker housing is removed.

The factory bracket are missing also. If I use a Walmart Dash kit with the pocket underneath, do I need to still get the OEM brackets?

Also what do you suggest that I do about the front speaker housings?
I have my new speakers and head unit and I want sound in my car, Please help.

I don't know if you will need the dash bracket. I'm not sure what is missing and what comes in the kit. As for mounting the speakers just get some wood, MDF is fine, and make a bracket.
