wiring 5 ch amp

the number of RCA outputs on your headunit (or eq or whatever is driving your amp) will determine the number of channels as input to your amp. for example, my HU has 4 channels (front and rear, right and left each) so i used a 4 conductor RCA wire to connect my HU to my amp. the amp has a built in crossover for the 5th channel (my sub) and automatically combines the front and rear imputs for its input. if your headunit only has 2 channels of RCA outputs, look for a "combine" switch on the amp to use those inputs for the front and rear channels.

good luck.
