so my amp started smoking

a few days ago my amp just cut off. i checked all the wires. everything was fine. i checked the inline 50 amp fuse in the engine bay and it broke. no big deal - i got another. i popped it in and started her up again. no bass. so i check the trunk and the power light on the amp is barely fading on and off and the amp is smoking out of the vents!!!

it's a kicker kx600.1 - less than a year old. anyone heard of this happening. what the hell do i do now - short of buying a new amp?

Too low impedance. Too small of power wire. Incorrenctly wired. Something shorted, therefore the blown fuse. Probably a few other possibilities.
