wiring speakers and amps

For wiring your speakers to your amps and head unit to amps and the power wires do you need to take out all the carpet to get the wires to the trunk?

To answer that very quick nope.

But if you want to do a very clean install the you will need to remove seats and some carpet. That way you can run your power wire on one side of the car... rcas on the other and speaker wires thru the middle.

But if you just want to get it done in no time then all you need to remove are the "door seals?" is this how those things are called ??? And then simply run power on one side and rca+speaker wire on the other under those seals.

Just lift up the plastic door sills on each door and run your wiring from there. There should be a white plastic trim cover where all the other factory wiring runs. Run the power cable wire on the same side as the battery (usually the driver's side). Run the speaker wires and RCA cables on the opposite side of the car (passenger's side). You may have to lift up the rear seat to pass all the wiring thru the trunk. Try to find a good grounding spot in the trunk for your amps and make sure your ground wire is short and thick to avoid noise.

Ground should be as short as possible. I've heard that it should be no greater than 3 feet, the one in my car is one foot.
