where do tweeters go?

where do tweeters go?

im looking at infinity spekers for my 96 max and most come with seprate tweeters... where do these go in my car?

Either in the a-pillar or near top of the door panel. You want the tweater up closer to ear level, but it's also recommmended that the tweater be not more than 2 feet away from the woofer (otherwise you it will seam as two different sound sources).

We put the tweeters in the front pillars and the rear pillars. Go to page 2 and you can see where we cut the Kappa tweeters in.

I put the tweets from my Boston ProSeries 6.5's on that little triangle atop the door panel (just behind where the sideview mirrors mount).

THe answer is where ever it works and gives you the sound you want.


Common places are...The kickpanel, the a piller, the mirro cup, coax mounted over the mid, and some cut a hole in certain spots in teh door and put um there.

i custom drilled my tweeters in the door panels right before my door handle it is a clean job. but i recommend either drill in ur door panel if u know wat ur doin or get a professional to do it for u.
