I just installed my 7 inch yesterday wansn't really that hard. All i did was take off the dash piece and put it between the bracket and the dash piece and just used a little tape. Works perfect. I'll try to get pics soon.

You guys should do some research on the Rosen R6500 Double-DIN head unit.

Plays DVDs, CDs, MP3s, MPEG files, and shows JPGs. Built in TV tuner. All you need is the TV antenna.

They run about $1500 retail. At least that's the price I was quoted when I was trying out the demo model.

man that looks good.....but $1500.00(these are cheaper than the other 7" motorized fold out's I have seen) for a tv that will probably not be used but every now and then...

My whole point is to avoid the flip out screen. Or the Headunit/Cutom 7" in the Double Din slot Combo.

This one does everything that I would like. Without cutting and without having a flip up screen to accidentally break.

quesion

can anyone tell me when you take out the bose and stick a lcd in place and then an after market in the compartment below, is there any brackets inside that single din compartment to mount the hu to? I went to circuit city today because I bought my HU there because I had a large gift certificate, and the hu came with a free install, and I told the guy that I was gonn have an HU installed and he said he would not install the Hu in the compartment because theres no way to secure it and its against company policy (bull****!) I am wondering if there are brackets, or do you have to add them or what?
