Bose CD player

Whatsup guys, this is my first post on this board.
I just today got a 1991 Maxima SE, 5spd, leather, fully loaded, with the Bose CD/Cassette.
My problem is with the CD player. Basically, it doesnt work. It lights up when i have my headlights on, but when i switch from radio to CD, nothing happens. Im assuming that the display comes on or something. I tried putting a CD in, supposedly that automatically starts the CD player, but it wouldnt let me put anything in. None of the buttons work and Eject doesnt work.
It seems like something is jammed in there (wont let me put a CD in) but its almost like theres no power running to it either?
