Question about amp power kit

I have just about everything I need for my system accept for my amp power kit. I have been to a few retail stores like best buy and circuit city and some car audio stores, and they all have amp power install kits. I know I need an 800+ watt amp power kit, and all these places are charging absurd prices. Something like $130.00 for a 1000 watt kit made by Rockford Fosgate. I mean this stuff could cost the manufactures more then a $.50. So I went on ebay and found a bunch of these kits. Heres one i found:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=14932

Now i am wondering does anyone have experience with these generic kits? I am installing a high end JL, and phoenix gold system and I do not want to go checp on this if this is important, and thats why the companys that sell retail are ripping people so bad on this stuff.

It is tough to screw up wires; as long as they are the correct guage and insulated yet flexible, you will be fine.

I'll get flamed for this... but yes. Monster is a big marketing scam, IMHO. The others are priced for the looks; you pay for the fancy blue/red/purple translucent sleeves and the manufacturer's name printed on the side. Copper wire is copper wire; you're paying for the dress-up and convenience of having a pre-packaged set of wires and internconnects.

Go ahead, flame me.

I bought that exact kit 2 weeks ago. I got it in on Friday. I must say that I was very impressed with the kit. The power wire is humongous. If your amp can't get enough juice from that then there are other issues. The RCA cables are nice as ell. I would highly recommend the kit to anyone. Best price for what you get IMO.

I mentioned KnuKonceptz because i have delt with them in the past. Great people and truly awesome products. I was at work and didn't get a good luck at the ebay kit.

Now that i have looked at it, you need to ask the seller a question or even maximamaybe can answer this one. The picture at the top of the auction shows a complete kit. However, if you read through the specifications, there are no listing of the pictured remote turn on or speaker wire. Could just be an oversight. Then again, you have heard all the stories about ebay. I would give it a try if everything is included. Can't beat $19!

Came with everything in the picture. I am very happy. The power wire is huge. I had a hard time cutting it. It has a good quality fuse holder as well. I liked it. Especially since it is cheaper than many other kits.
