Just wondering because I am about to buy my first set of subs because I have saved up some money and really need some bass because I get into my friend new Toyota Celica with 3 MTX 10s and just cant stand not having my own bass after buying a good Alpine cd player last year. Thanks for any opinions.

P.S. I know JLs are some of the best subs on the market because that was all that people bought for any years. And they have like 5 months left on their extended warranty.

They are good budget market subs. Effecient...do not require a lot of power to move.

I am buying them from a org member for $200 with a box(brand new nevered used 2002 model) and warranty until October so if I blow them I can get them replaced within the next couple months. Hifi Buys and other shops have them at $119 per sub with no box and no warranty so his deal is better. www.bizrate.com has alot of good reviews about I just want some good bump.

I have two JL 12" W0(8 ohms), in my car and I love them. Had them about 5 years and they still pound.
