Pac Aoem-nis2

Anybody know of any other websites where these can be purchased? There is a website listed a few threads down, but they don't have any in stock, and won't for a few weeks. I need to get this ASAP. Thanks!!

When I tried to order mine about a week and a half ago, they said they didn't have any. Oh well, I went ahead and ordered one from Tune-Town, and got it installed with my sub. It sounds 100% better now!!!

Well, I never really had a line-out converter, soI couldn't make a fair comparison. That being said, this unit provides a good pre-out, and sounds very good. Better than most (99.999999999999%)others I have heard that tap the signal after thge bose amp. You will be quite happy with the unit!

I have a Eclipse Aluminum 12 (8122DVC), and am using an Alpine MRD-M500 to push it. This setup hits hard as hell! I have the bass on the Bose HU set to -3 right now (I'll have o check the settings on the amp though), and it is quite eough for my tastes, though it is nice to have a little extra "boom" on tap should I want it, hehehe. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll try to help all I can!

You can go to PAC's web site: www.go2pac.com to find out what you need to use with your max. I think this particular adapter works for either 94 and up or 96 and up, but the website will be able to tell you for sure.

Here are the part numbers:
Model Year Model
AOEM-NIS1 89-94 Nissan W/Bose
AOEM-NIS2 95-99 Nissan w/Bose

I ordered yesterday at 3PM and the package arrived this morning. They are in Houston and I am in Dallas, but that is still hella fast.

Yeah, I told you, the affsave.com people are great. Good price and took only 2 days to TN.

I believe if you're replacing the HU, you need the ROEM-NIS2.

I am 99.9% sure that for REPLACING the HU, you need the ROEM-NIS2.

If you keep the stock HU, and just want to add RCAs, then you use the AOEM-NIS2.

I've never used the ROEM-NIS2 nor replaced the bose HU (I've only used the AOEM-NIS2). If you want better advice on replacing the BOSE HU, I'd send a PM to studman..he just did this recently and used the ROEM-NIS2.

Yes, You will need the ROEM-NIS2 to replace the headunit and keep the stock amp. If you already purchased the AOEM-NIS2, I would think that you should be able to just purchase the other connectors. Both kits use the same OEM1 kit.

I called back and told the guy exactly what I wanted to do and he said explained the ROEM-NI2 is not the part I needed either. I don't even know what part he said I needed because I was trying to understand exactly what he was talking about when he explained what the part does, but I will make a post once I get it to ensure no more people give info that there not sur about. They already shipped the AOEM-NI2 but they said they would ship another and I could return it and be credited. They are very knowledgeable there and I recommend them now.

DR -

They have the ROEM-NIS2. That's what you need. It's listed on their site here: http://www.affsave.com/pac4.htm

Go to this link. go2pac Click Nissan and select Search for OEM Kit. Be sure that you are in the bottom section where it says that you want to replace your headunit.

Here is what it says on their site.
The OEM-1 now comes in a complete kit. The kit includes the OEM-1, AMP-xxx, and RAD-UNV.
Year Model Kit Part #
1995-2002 All Nissan w/Bose ROEM-NIS2

Here is a picture as well
