Bose head unit removal on a 5th Gen

I looked through the FAQs and found this link http://carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalNisMax3.htm. Is there anything else that I should need to worry about? Any other advise or how to would be greatly appreciated.

That pretty much covers it. I had more luck getting the vents at the top out using a flat head screwdriver on the sides of the vent assembly kinda "prying" it out. Be sure that if you use a flathead screwdriver to pry anything out that you have it wrapped in a cloth so you don't scratch any of your panels up.

The vents were the hardest part to remove. Everything else was straight forward as the directions show.
