Please help me.

I have the infinity Kappa 6.5"

The wiring has two black wires, one with a white line all the way through it. Please let me know which one is possitive and which one is negative.

I appreciate it.

Why does it say that the black is - and the black/white is possitive in the Infinity Manual?

Test it with a 9-volt battery. If it pushes out, it's wired right. If not, then flip it over. Or you can just plug it into your amp and try it out. Won't hurt the speaker as long as you keep it at low volume, but you will be able to hear that it is wrong immediately.

well , this is just a rough estimate but in 99.9% of speaker wire jobs , the positive is always the just plain color and negative is same color with white/silver running down it :::

Caled Infinity and they said the black wire with the stripe was the possitive and the solid black was the negative. Thanks for your help guys.
