Installing Apmlifier to Interior speakers?

Hey the Search is down and I can't find a good enought site to help me

I am pretty good with audio stuff but I have never installed an Amp to interior speakers

its not for my car its fom my friends 95 Grand Cherokee, he also has a two 12's in the back with an amp do I connect the RCA cables from his interior amp to his sub amp?

I am just a little confused on how to run everything? do I have to get another Power source and ground wire?

How do I connect the Amp to the interior speakers do i have to take the old wires out and only use the speaker wires that go from the amp?

please help thanks!

1. RCA's - If your friends deck has more than one preout then use the decks preout. If not than you can splice the rca's or if one of the amps has an input and then an out put you can run it like that.

2. What size amps are we talking about. 4 ga is good to about 1200-1400ish watts. If his power source is 4ga then run it to a fused dc block and then out to the two amps. If the current amp is running on anything smaller than 8, you'll probably have to run another power. Grounds should be as close to the amp as possible.

3. You can leave the old wires in the doors and just run new wires. That way if he ever sells it, it can go back to stock relatively easy.
