i am N00B... please help me!!
wattup guys
i have a 96 Bose system... i am too poor to go changing everything. I need your help.. this is something that has been asked a million times but just, one more time, PLEASE explain it lol
I have bose like I mentioned and 2 10" subs laying around in my room. The sucky part about it is I don't know what model they are.... just know they're JL and pretty old. I've looked all over it but can't find any model number.
I want to do all the install work myself but I'd like to know what else I need?? I need an amp... I know that. Anyone recommend me any cheap amps?
Also, I'll probably need some adapter from PAC (still not sure, just read it in a couple posts). How does this all work together??
and finally, is it worth adding subs to the Bose or am i just wasting my time. thanks

If you want to keep it simple, just buy an amp and a line level converter. You can tap the line level converter into the speaker wire on the rear speakers. As for an amp, you can go cheap and get a decent cheap amp like a Boss or a Soundstorm. I've bought a few Boss amps for friends on ebay for like $50 new and they seem to be happy.
