I doubt it, it might sound good, but teh subs wont perform to the best of their ability. I say this because those subs in a ported box need about 2.0 cu feet of air space. I dont think thats 2.0 cu feet for each sub. Just my .02

so sealed box it is

which way is better to face speakers, towards outside of trunk or towards inside of cabin of car, any difference?

Ive alwyas had better results with facing the rear of the car. Sealed is a good choice, but I like ported better (especially with the type of music that I listen to). The reason why your subs dont sound as good is because all subs need more cubic feet when in a ported box, and a lot less when in a sealed box. If your ported box was bigger, it would sound better.

that looks like a bandpass box. Not my cup of tea. Don't need that much power to push them but in my opinion sealed is better.
peace

HOPE YOU HAVE A WARRANTY

Hope you have those subs warranteed. I used to sell this stuff at Best Buy and Rockford will not warranty any of their subs if put in a bandpass. Bandpasses sound good for low low bass but they beat the **** out of your subs. Eventually the dust caps will fall off those Rockfords or the voice coils will just melt into a smoky mess. Use a sealed or ported. Rockfords sound awesome in ported boxes if they are tuned right. But if they are warranteed than have a good time you will be amazed at how much power comes from the box.
