Receive preview station on XM every time...

I turn off and turn on the HU! I have the power wire of my XM tuner hooked up to my remote turn on lead on the amp. It's like it loses it's memory everytime. Any ideas? Using Alpine HU and tuner.

Yeah you are losing it's memory cuz it's cutting power when you shut of the car. There should be two inputs on your tuner, constant power and remote turn on. If you have the turn-on lead going to the power input, you will lose memory everytime you turn off the car.

yep. Yellow wire on XM tuner module to battery.. I thought it would be to accessory, but its not.. (ie HU/controller would remember station, but I think its the tuner that holds the station)

*OR* you havent set any presets, yet have it starting up on presets.

Thanks! I'll just hook it up to the battery terminal on the amp then. I had the power wire for the Sirius setup I had hooked to remote and it worked. Must be the XM tuner like you said Tim.
