Getting system tomorrow and need some input...

I drive a 96 with the Bose system and am just looking to add subs.
Im getting my system wired tomorrow and i just need some final tips and advice. I already have 2 Orion Cobalt 12s bridged in a ported box. Im going to get this amp => http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...d=&newdeptid=9
I just wanted to know what gauge wiring i should use and what part i need to buy from walmart for be able to hook up the amp to my bose HU.
As well is it possible for me to create a kill switch or a bass **** to turn off the bass completely when my dad is driving?
Oh and i plan on buying RAAMAT from the group deal forum if there still is a deal....
Thanks.
