finally made my box got the beat going on.. those things are awsome. i have the alchemy 12 dual voice coil.. it rocks much cleaner than the JL w6.. however i think i overloaded my system. it's just one twelve getting pushed by the phoenix gold zx600 bridged at 600 watts. my 40 amp fuse just blew. anyone know the reason??? i wired the voice coils in parallel

 

I don't think that the fuse should have blew cause of the sub. What is the resistance ohms of the sub. The only reason that fuse would blow is a short somewhere.

 

i've just been told the amperage of my fuse is too low, so they told me to run at least a 60amp fuse

 

Yes, as it says on page 4 of the owners manual. You should be useing an 80 amp fuse for that amp at that impedance.

 

hahahahh oops. they shoulda had an illustration/diagram of some sort.. i dont' read... hahah j/p tahnx for the help.. i'll see what i can do.. i think my circuit breaker is only 60amp tho..
