Anybody install XM or Sirius in their Max. Im thinking about getting it but dont know where to put the GIANT ugly antenna. I heard it can be put on the rear dash but it compromises the reception. Thanks for any input and/or pics

 

depends where you live. My friend has Sirius and mounts his antenna on the rear dash with no problems, except for maybe tunnels, but that's normal I guess...

 

I have the XM and the mouse antenna mounted on the rear trunk lid. It doesn't look too bad, but I never thought about mounting it on the rear dash. I've seen them on the rear dash, though.

 

I have Sirius and mounted on the trunk....not tooo noticable

 

I knokw the guy who did my stereo installs it under the front bumper.

I have mine on the rear deck. I have some dropouts. Very minimal though. (large overpasses, tunnels, etc)
I can have the car parked in my garage with the door closed and still listen to Sirius.
