filling the gap

i had my excelon with eq in my factory double din opening...I gave the eq to my brother and now i have a din sized opening under my hu. What are my options for covering this opening being as I don't want to use the pocket. I already have a pocket.

if you really don't want to spend much, here's an idea. Take a DVD case that you don't care about and cut out a piece of the inside of the front cover. tape it up inside the open space. I did something similar where I mounted my Sirius controller, but I used a playstation case. Only problem was the playstation case has a blue tint to it.

plastic is cheap and easy to find at hobby and craft centers. Balsa wood is cheaper and easier to mold as well as easy to paint.
