Most newer aftermarket alarms have basically the same options. I think that the most important thing about an aftermarket alarm is top quality installation.

Check out this link.

what does a Viper alarm do that other alarms dont do? All alarms make noise that nobody pays any attention to.... Even the person who wants your stereo/radar detector/CD's/subwoofers/car.........

for $100 bucks u can get any alarm that most manufactures make...but if u want something different try WWW.compustar.org or take alook at cliffords 2way pager system.....but these systems a about 5 to six times as much as those $100 alarms.... and well worth it.... a few people have the 2way alarms installed in there cars..... i do i have the compustar

Exactly...

when my car got broken into a while back, the stock alarm didnt even bother to go off untill they dip**** popped the trunk. He was inside flipping through CD's and stuff with no alarm going off.

The only aftermarket security I would get is Lo-Jack....... Other than that, most other alarms that dont have any kind of immobilizer are a joke....
