Are you able to use stock single din unit, to mount aftermarket head unit (4th gen)?

For those of you who had a single din stock radio in your maxima, before you got an aftermarket headunit, did you have to buy any mounting kit, or were you able to utilize the stock one? Any particular adjustments you had to make? Car in question is a 98 GXE with the single din cassette deck.
Thanks

You should be able to use the stock hole. Instead of using the aftermarket sleeve just slide the headunit in line up the holes on the side and screw it in. That simple. Hope this helps.
