98 Max Bose...Constant Faulty??

Ok, my radio died....got another eck of my buddy. But when I was testign for the constant and switched 12volt, I found that the switched is fine and give the proper voltage. But the constant only reads like 2volts when the car is off....Does that make sense? Will I have run a new constant wire? Is this normal for suck a low voltage, or is my constant wire or link faulty? And anybody have any idea where I can get teh color codes for the wires on the BOSE system? All I find is the chart for non-bose and people asking for the BOSE chart but with no reply.....HUge thanks as always!

My ignition wire is fine. It's the memory wire that's not I believe. I'm only getting like a 2volt reading on it...I think it should read 12volt? Thansk for the help, I really want to get this resolved

ok, let me explain. On the main ignition harness of the car there will be about 6 heavy gauge wires in a harness. Im 99% sure the white/red will be your constant 12v. Tap that wire and run it to your radio. Make sure to use an inline fuse (10amp). You will have to drop the underdash panel to acess these wires.
