Bose System

Hey. I was wondering if it is possible to hook up some subs to my Bose system. My dad is telling me that it isn't possible but I want to know for sure. Thanks a lot.

depends on what kind of bass youre looking for...

you could go with an infinity basslink, its a 10" w/amp in one unit, cost you somewhere between 200 and 300 bucks...

ive heard nothing but good things about it if youre looking for more bass than the bose, but if youre looking for bass to wake up the neighborhood, its not for you...

a line-level converter and an amp wiring kit, and you can hook up any amp/sub combo you'd like

i think to **** your dad off you should buy the JL Audio 13W7's and 2 1000/1's to power them and when your putting out 155db of pure SPL power he can ask himself why he was wrong.

I have Bose as well, and I already have an amp and subs. What do I need to buy in order to use them? Do you have a link where I can buy one?

Read the Audio Forum's FAQ. It's all in there.
