what would you use to power 2 12 inch subs. they are mtx thunder 8000 peak power at 800 watts a piece and 95-200 rms. PLease i need to find an amp HELP!!

 

What is the voice coil nominal resistance? And how many coils per sub?

 

give us more detail on the subs. How many ohms? ..coils?

 

Use a JL audio 500/1 and you should be fine no matter what the resistance is. They will automatically give you full power to any impedence from 1-4 Ohms. Lots of adjustment capability, and an adjustable subsonic filter,in case you wanted to go with a ported or bandpass box.

 

yea GL 500/1 would be good for that.
