System Question....

For some reason my sub stops for a sec in songs that have a lot of bass.. Then its fine for the rest of the song.. I'm not sure if its the amp or the sub.. Any help would be appreciated....

Sounds like the amp would be at fault... I doubt the subs themselves could cause that (unless they're seriously broken :P)
Perhaps the amps are overheating for a brief moment?

This could be a ground problem. The ground isn't bad enough to prevent current being passed, but during heavy bass tones it needs to pass more current through and as a result of the poor ground shuts down. Comes right back on when the music is less bassy or is turned down.

Its worth the couple minutes it takes to re-sand the spot its grounded to and check the wire and ends.

Could also be the amp going into protect mode.

Of course I didn't mean a literal second.. I'm not going to time exactly how long it stops but it stops at a bass drop then kicks back in for the next one..

It'll be longer than that too, Protect mode usally last for no less than 5 min.
