I have a Pioneer 12 in a sealed box by it's self. I would like to know where the box would fit good without sliding around,and yes it does slide. I don't want to leave the box in the center of the trunk, I need the space for other things other than 1 speaker, YA KNOW? I do not know the dimensions of the box, but it is wider at the bottom than the top and I would like to place on either side of the trunk to retain space. I have not seen any other posts on this subject, other than which direction to face the sub. Would I need to modify anything to get a clean and well fitted install. PLZ HELP.

 

You could build another box that will fit on the side of the trunk, behind the wheel. That would require some carefull mesurements. You could slide the box you have to the side and strap it down with something. You could also take the sub to a local shop and have them build a custom enclosure for it, you can ask them to put it out of the way some where, but that would be expensive. Hope this helps.
