4th gen Bose speaker blown

4th gen Bose speaker blown

In addition to the cd player problem I have, my rear right speaker is blown out. From reading a couple threads on this board, it seems like Bose is a ***** to have. What would be my best/cheapest option in getting that speaker fixed?

What parts aren't blown on yours? (post link to forsale thread maybe?)

None of mine are blown, and heres the For Sale thread. I may have the HU sold but thats it.

Thanks for the help guys, especially those sites philpoe, thats probably what I will end up doing is just replacing that speaker.

Which speaker blew? I have extra Bose speakers in working condition. Also, if you are looking for a headunit, I have a nice Sony cd player for sale. Let me know if you are interested.

Take the bose stuff and blow it up.... go out, spend some money on some REAL car audio equipment... solved

Until you blow another speaker

Trust me, going aftermarket (you can put together a decent sounding system for under 500 at like Wal-Mart) in the long run will save you money... Bose is possibly the worst when it comes to car audio...
