first off, i know alot of ppl here dont like the w7 due to price and things, but i want a w7. i guess my main question is whether to go with a 12'' or a 10'' in a H.O. box. if i got the 10, i want to run a jl 500/1 amp to it. now the question is whether or not to up to the 12 ran with a concept 800 watt amp. (the installer told me alot of ppl didnt like the jl amp price, so they started selling concept amps and had no complains) just wandering if the 12'' is a VERY big difference from the 10''. im wanting some nice bass, but nothing too loud, just want it to sound clean (the reason im going w/jl.) anyway, sorry for the length, but any help, advice, or opinions welcome.

 

i have 2 12w7s runnin @ 750w ... i think that a 1000/1 jl amp with a 12w7 in a HO box would sound mindblowing... it would be clean!

 

depends if you like "tighty" more clear boom boom bass... 10"
or if you want theatrical, club, not so tight nice bass.. 12"

10" needs a 500/1
12" needs a 1000/1
You can get a 1000/1 for about 650, for JL quality, that aint too shabby
purecaraudio.com is usually cheap, u can also talk him down

I, however, would get the 1000/1 amp and get a Diamond Audio 12" TDX
