Front door speakers (5th gen)

Welp, I installed my old Pioneer 6.5" 3-ways last night. They have 4 "oversize 6.75" GM-style holes" in them. I installed them successfully, although I had to drill the plastic holes a bit farther out to make them fit--if the Pioneer's 6.75" holes were a tad further inward they would have fit like a glove.
Alas, they're installed. I did not take pictures because it was dark out and I forgot :-P I also drilled holes in the chassis (used a titanium 3/8" drill bit), cut a hole in the grommet and slid the wire in through there. So the wire's exposed if you open the door, although I did put liberal amounts of electrical tape around the speaker wire so it's not as likely to cut on any metal burrs in the 3/8" chassis hole.

I must say, listening to the Bose system with only the front tweeters and rear door speakers is funny. There's no bass whatsoever I'll be very happy when I'm finished wiring the rest of the system up (and install my headunit, which is the last step :-D)
